Meet the Musician Feat: Josh Baker

We welcome Josh Baker back to our channel before he takes his walk across the Viterbo Fine Arts stage this weekend for our second chamber concert of this season! A native of the La Crosse area, Josh received the Bachelor of Arts in Clarinet Performance and Music Theory in 2019 – he plans to continue his education at the University of Minnesota in the Fall of 2021. Since graduating, he has been performing with the La Crosse Symphony and the Encore Wind Ensemble based in Minneapolis. Josh also teaches in the area at Leithold Music, Reed Music Studios, and privately. He discusses the two composers featured at the concert this weekend, George Walker and Aaron Copland while tying in this month’s theme of nationalism and patriotism. Watch the video to learn more!
