Mary Beth Hensel

This first week of December we bring to the stage, oboist, Mary Beth Hensel. Hensel, MBA, has gratefully served the La Crosse area community as a member of the LSO since 1988. She has held positions as both principal oboe and English horn, making a total of five featured guest artist appearances on both instruments with the orchestra during that time. A native of the Coulee Region, Ms. Hensel earned her bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School in New York and her master’s degree from Viterbo University in La Crosse. She is an active freelancer and pedagogue in the area while leading Resolve Through Sharing—a national bereavement training program in the Gundersen Medical Foundation. Turn up the volume, you won’t want to miss this!
