Richard Record Rising Stars Concerto Competition

Join us at the Symphony on January 20th, 3:30 pm, to watch 7 musicians compete at the Richard Record Rising Stars Concerto Competition! 7 finalists will perform a concerto competing for the top prize, the Dick Schroeder Memorial Award of $2,000 and a mainstage performance at the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra’s March 2nd concert. 2nd place, the Jane Saline Memorial Award of $1,500 and the possibility of performing on the main stage at the March 2nd concert. A 3rd place, Jay and Dawn Jaehnke Award of $1,000, will also be awarded as two Honorable Mention Awards, Bill Koutsky Honorable Mention, $500, and John Bolstad Honorable Mention, $500.
