Matt Curtis -- La Crosse native, Viterbo University graduate, and former member of the legendary ensemble Chanticleer, returns home to grow a business and raise a family -- and, in his spare time, revive that great American tradition of the Barbershop Quartet! "Coulee Classic" will team up with the LSO for a bouquet of Holiday favorites that'll warm your heart. And, in a newer LSO tradition, members of our wonderful La Crosse Youth Symphony join the LSO for Tchaikovsky's immortal ballet, Swan Lake......and beforehand, a uniquely American masterpiece: Duke Ellington's incredible Jazz interpretation of that most famous of all Christmas classics, the Nutcracker Suite -- in which the talents of several of the LSO's principal musicians will come to the fore. As always, we close our evening together with John Finnegan's holiday Singalong, incorporating the most beloved Christmas and Hanukkah tunes.
