Financial Contributions are critical to the continued success of the LSO, since only 35% of expenses are covered by ticket sales. Professional organizational management, careful attention to budgets, building the audience base and increasing financial contributions has put the orchestra in a stable fiscal position as we enter the 2009-10 season. Through strategic planning the Executive Director, Music Director, and the Board of Directors of the LSO consider carefully the direction in which the organization should move. The direction toward ever-increasing artistic excellence is clearly proven by the musical repertoire, guest artists and musicians chosen and the sold-out houses throughout the season.
The LSO realizes a wide range of financial contributions annually. Following are the categories of financial support. (All individual contributors of $25.00 or greater are listed in the season Concert.
